Déjà Boo

Submission to Game Dev Society October Jam

Déjà Boo is a 2D pixel roguelike developed in Unity in 4 days for a University society game jam. It placed 2nd.

It was developed in a team of 6, with myself acting as the designer and musician/sound designer. Once we brainstormed our concept, I came up with the mechanics for the main gameplay loop and the various traps and enemies the player encounters in the haunted house.

I really enjoyed working on this jam as the game quickly came together once the main loop was implemented, and players enjoyed the fast-paced design and quirky aesthetic.
